Job Title: Specialist Analyst (Revenues and Benefits) - 3-Month Contract
Location: Remote (with occasional onsite visits) - Local Authority in Havering
Salary: £477/day
An exciting opportunity has arisen within OneSource IT application support team, responsible for managing Havering Capita Academy Revenues & Benefits Solution. We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Analyst to ensure the efficient and accurate processing of payments and income for Havering through the Capita Academy system.
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration and Job Execution:
- Manage system administration functions including maintenance of batch queues, user creation, and task allocation.
- Monitor job performance, promptly addressing any issues.
- Ensure GDPR compliance through archiving and data cleansing.
- Complete Financial Government Returns/Reporting.
Collaboration with Service Teams:
- Work closely with service teams to understand requirements.
- Agree on schedules for payment and income jobs.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Experience with NNDR, Council Tax, and Housing Benefits solutions within the Academy system.
- Assist in clearing integrity errors on databases.
- Design bespoke reports using SQL.
- Provide back-end administration support (SQL or QBF amendments).
- Knowledge of incident resolution within the ITSM tool.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven track record in configuring and running jobs via Capita's batch scheduler.
- Familiarity with Capita Academy Revenue & Benefits system.
- Understanding of NNDR, Council Tax, and Housing Benefits processes.
- Ability to work directly with Business leads unsupervised.
Collaborative Skills:
- Ability to liaise with Capita 3rd Party support, business leads, and IT colleagues for system upgrades and testing.
- Work independently with Business leads to meet agreed timescales.
