Town Planner – Birmingham 
£27,000 - £35,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
One of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary practices specialising in the built environment with services that include town planning, architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, transport planning, and land surveying. Following organic growth of the Town Planning department, they are now seeking a Town Planner to join their Birmingham office.
The Town Planner will be responsible for preparing planning appraisals and planning statements to justify development proposals. You’ll assist in co-ordinating applications for major development projects, including attending project meetings and meetings with LPA Officers and prepare appeal statements. The Town Planner will also work closely with clients, working in a hands-on role for the entirety of the project.
The Person
The Town Planner will hold between 2+ years planning experience and be MRTPI or working towards full membership. You’ll show initiative and enthusiasm throughout your work and be confident when speaking with clients. A great team player, the Town Planner will be a strong communicator with a creative approach to problem solving. You’ll be methodical in your work, which is delivered with a high standard of quality.
The Reward
The Town Planner will receive a strong salary package which includes;
