Akton Recruitment are looking for a Supported Travel Officer to join the local authority based in Kingston.
The Council is focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for its communities. To do this the Council needs employees who thrive in an agile and networked organisation and who can support continuous improvement within a constructive organisational culture.
The role reports directly to the Senior Brokerage Officer and is responsible for arranging and coordinating supported travel arrangements for people eligible for such support from Adult Social Care.
The role plays a key part in supporting the process of cultural change of expectation of travel and awareness of alternatives across the organisation, users, parents, and providers.
In order to successfully deliver the responsibilities of the role, you will need to:

* An understanding of both PCO and PSV compliance regulations or a willingness to learn.
This is a part-time contract-based role, working 21 hours per week (3 days), 09:00 - 17:00, paying a rate of £15 per hour. The initial contract for this role is 2 months with a view to extend. If you think this role is right for you, get in touch now!
