Structural Design Engineer (2-3 years’ experience)
Rutland – East Midland
Salary: Negotiable dependant on skills, experience and qualifications

They specialise in the high-quality delivery of a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. They are looking to welcome the successful applicant to play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of small, medium and large building projects across numerous sectors. To be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:
  • Have a minimum qualification: BEng/BSc Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Hold a Membership or working towrars the ICE or IstructE
  • Possess a minimum 2-3 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
  • Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
  • Be experienced in the use of Tedds and AutoCAD
  • Think creatively and logically to resolve design challenges
  • Have a clean driving licence and use of car
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key responsibilities of this Senior Structural Engineer role include but not limited to:
  • Play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion
  • Attend site projects and design team meetings as required
  • Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with highly valued clients
  • Lead projects independently on a range of contracts
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and manufacturers
  • Carry out detailed design and analysis on a range of projects
  • Aid the development of more junior team members
  • Assist with bid proposals
