Strategic Data Analyst-Bromley

Bromley Safeguarding Children (BSCP) is looking to recruit a full-time STRATEGIC DATA ANALYST on a fixed term contract to the end of March 2021.

Our Partnership has a history of effective partnership working, and a real commitment from agencies to keep children and young people safe. Our three statutory safeguarding partners (London Borough of Bromley, Metropolitan Police Service South BCU and South East London Clinical Commissioning Group) work together with named partners including in education, probation and the voluntary sector to safeguard the children of Bromley. An exciting new opportunity has now arisen to support and develop our approach to using multi-agency intelligence strategically and will shape and transform our analysis across the partnership.

We are seeking an innovative analyst to work alongside existing teams, in collaboration with analysts in the Partnership. A data analysis background and project management skills are essential in order to be a successful candidate for this role. An individual with experience of one or more of Education, Social Care, Police, Health and Voluntary Services systems and data would be desirable. The successful candidate will need to have a depth of knowledge and understanding of services for children and safeguarding. You will ensure that the Partnership has robust information and analysis that can be delivered at a senior level across the BSCP. You will be an excellent communicator across different audiences in a multi-agency environment. You will be a problem solver, with a solutions focused approach, able to navigate the challenges and embrace the opportunities of multi-agency data sharing. You will work proactively to set agendas and agree reporting cycles, including exception reporting.

You will ensure that the regular reporting of strategic threat assessments to the BSCP is fit for purpose and based on available information in our partner agencies. The role requires a flexible, agile worker who can work from home for the majority of the week with regular travel to Bromley.
