Akton Recruitment are looking for a Specialist Customer Service Adviser to join the local authority in Oxfordshire.
This will be a home-based role whilst we are still working from home due to Covid. If a return to the office happens, candidate will need to travel to Oxford City.
Although this is a customer service role, the Social & Health Care Team are the front door to Adult and Children Social Services. This particular role will be dedicated to making contact with the Clinically Extremely Vulnerable residents of Oxfordshire, to insure their wellbeing needs are being met. This is not a data entry role, but assessments are completed computer based.
The team complete assessments for service users that require support with day to day living. The calls can take up to 45 minutes to complete taking detailed information from the service user about how they manage day to day.
Duties making outbound calls by phone, using a headset and laptop, email, and social media. Completing assessments / referrals with the service user / family detailing how they manage day to day. Completion of Adult Safeguarding alerts.
Signposting to relevant organisations.
Staff will need to show empathy whilst dealing with calls that may be of difficult / challenging nature.
This is a full-time contract-based role working Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, paying a rate of £12 per hour, with the initial contract ending April 2022. It is essential candidates have experience in this role or similar. If you think this role is right for you, get in touch now!
