SharePoint and Power Platform Specialist- Haringey
£36/h


The primary function of this role is to act as the technical lead in Haringey's SharePoint Online migration project. This will require expert knowledge in all aspects of SharePoint including design, implementation, data classification via the use of Azure/Microsoft Information Protection, data retention policies and the use of Microsoft Rights Management Software.

In addition, the role requires having detailed and practical use of Microsoft's Power Platform environment with particular focus on Power Apps, governance and the setting up of a Microsoft Centre of Excellence. To provide advice and guidance to all area of the Council on these technologies and the setting up best practice templates to guide future development work.

Exposure to Microsoft 365 development, Microsoft 365 automation and Azure Bot would be highly desirable.

Technical Experience / Skills / Knowledge
* Proven track record of delivering Microsoft 365 features with defined business benefits. Essential
* Has led acted as the technical lead for migrations to SharePoint Online Essential
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 with advanced implementation, support and design skills and experience with SharePoint online Essential
* To have detailed and practical use of SharePoint Online. Essential
* Proven track record as a SharePoint administrator Essential
* Experience of migration of on-prem file shares to SharePoint online Essential
* Experience of deploying and working with Azure/Microsoft Information Protection and information rights management to control and manage corporate data, enabling the safe and secure sharing of data with external partners. Essential
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft's Power Platform and governance issues Essential
* Knowledge of automation and Bot technology highly desirable Desirable
* Ability to communicate with a range of stake holders and help to drive a corporate vision. Desirable
* Familiar with the use of tools or systems which provide access security control (i.e., prevents unauthorised access to systems). Desirable
* Familiar with the frameworks and principles on which networks, systems, equipment and resources are based. Desirable
