JOB TITLE:                   Service Centre Technician
DEPARTMENT:            Information Technology, (IT)
 
Akton Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service Centre Technician for a Client in Camden.
 
JOB PURPOSE
The role as a Service Centre Technician requires you to have strong customer service skills with an ability to engage with service users to resolve issues, where possible, at first point of contact.
You will be expected to resolve complex problems in regard to the use of ICT systems to maintain underlying business process; ensuring all problems are resolved or channelled to appropriate support function.
 
REQUIREMENTS
You should have:
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Knowledge of ITIL service delivery, complex IT procurement
  • The ability to manage customer expectations and ensure effective communications with colleagues and customers
  • Incident and Problem Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows and Office
