We are looking for an outstanding Senior Project Manager to help deliver the Council's ambitious People Programme.
Waltham Forest is an ambitious Borough. Driven by the culture and the innate creativity of our residents, we have developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council. We have recently launched our ambitious People Strategy 2021-2025 and are working closely with our staff to help shape its delivery and bring to life our values. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join the People Programme team to support the delivery of the strategy and ensure our organisation is leading the way, living our values and adapting to meet the needs of our workforce to deliver the public services of the future.

About you

You will be able to develop excellent relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation, in an inclusive manner, with a strong commitment to excellent customer service.

You will have experience of running and managing complex projects and change initiatives. You will be a successful and respected leader, able to lead and inspire teams in both traditional and matrix working arrangements.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues from across the Council to develop detailed delivery plans, understand interdependencies with other key corporate initiatives, and to help ensure the changes are aligned and working to deliver the ambitions and aspirations of the Council's Reset agenda.
Evidence of successful working with, supporting and influencing senior stakeholders is essential.
