Project Manager- Waltham Forest
Manage the process of refunding all Current tenants and former tenants commission charged on their water bill by the local authority from 2006 to 2019.
To recruit and manage a project team, including a team leader and up to 3 officers for 6 months
To work with the Finance department to credit all current Rent accounts with commission charged by the Local authority from 2006 to 2019 and pay back credit when requested by tenants
To work with the Finance department to credit former Rent accounts with commission charged by the Local authority from 2006 to 2019 and pay back any credit any remaining when requested by former tenants.
To check that the tenants and former tenants have no outstanding arrears on any accounts before refunds are processed
To update accounts on Northgate with details of refund requests and payments
To work with the Communications team to promote the refund process on the Council's website and explain the background and reasons behind the water commission refunds.
To deal with all enquiries about the refund of the water commission
To be first contact for all internal and external enquiries about the refunds
To work with the Communication team to deal with all press enquiries about the refund process
To respond to any complaints about the refund process
