Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you well organised, diligent and have experience of supporting projects and using project management techniques? Are you able to work well with many different people?

We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to be a part of the team to assist, support and implement a range of projects within the Children's Services Innovation and Improvement Programme which is helping to improve services for Children and Families in Bradford - in areas such as Early Help, Social Care and Youth Justice. You'll be helping to enable the council to deliver on its commitments set out in the Improvement Plan, by supporting and driving delivery of innovation, transformation and change.

As a Programme Support Officer you will be creating and managing all aspects of project documentation. You will be co-ordinating the work of individuals who have projects assigned under their control within Children's Social Care. You will be assisting the Programme Team to plan projects; engage and work with partners; develop communication plans and manage risk.

You should be familiar with working in a Children's Services environment (or transferrable skills and an interest in working in this area) and be able to demonstrate project management support skills, have good communication skills and be able to undertake structured problem solving activity.

You will need to be qualified to NQF Level 4 and have a qualification, training or experience in Project Management support amounting to 2 years.
