Programme Manager- Haringey
£650/day

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to join Haringey Council's Digital Together Programme.

The Digital Together Programme is designed to improve our digital processes and maximise digital technology and to ensure Haringey is an innovative and forward-looking Council. In doing so we plan to realise cost saving benefit in line with our MTFS (Medium Term Financial Strategy).

In this role, you will lead the Digital Together Programme, motivate, and inspire a small team of project managers and business analyst as well as external contractors. You will be responsible for successfully turning initiatives and opportunities into projects, as part of wider change programmes, monitoring business cases, to help ensure planned business benefits are realised.

Joining a team of dedicated project and change management professionals passionate about their roles on transforming the council. We work collaboratively in a fast paced and inclusive environment.

Within the DT Programme is Haringey's Centre for Excellence for RPA and Automation. The post holder will need to be fully cognisant of the opportunities, utilisation of such technologies enables.


About you

You will be expert in managing medium to large scale Programme across the whole of the IT project lifecycle using different methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile. You will be adept at managing Programme Sponsors to ensure business functions are prepared for business and technical change.

You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills enable you to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and perspectives in different business contexts.

You will possess outstanding analytical skills and exhibit strong focus and resilience. Previous experience of working in a local government environment is a key requirement. A proven track record of delivering to time and budget is also essential.
