JOB TITLE: Payroll Officer
Akton Recruitment are recruiting for a Payroll Officer for a client in Basildon with iTrent experience.
The main purpose of the role is to support as a Payroll Officer is to provide comprehensive payroll and pension admin and to meet the needs of the client. You will also be expected to support the Payroll Manager to ensure the maintenance of the Client’s workforce.
As a Payroll Officer in a large company you will be expected to work in a professional, proactive manner as well as to contribute effectively and in a collaborative manner to the office and the wider company.
- iTrent Experience and previous payroll experience.
- Ability to perform manual calculations for Tax and NI.
- Good oral and written communication skills, able to present information in a concise and clear way.
- High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
