Permanent – Night Shift
I am currently looking Maintenance Engineers to provide both mechanical and electrical maintenance support working on a rotational 3 shift system covering a wide range of plant and equipment in a busy automotive environment.
Ensuring breakdowns are attended to and resolved quickly to maintain minimal downtime and disruption to the production process, you will be expected to: -
- Carry out routine inspection on various plant and equipment, carrying out repair work during normal production activity whilst providing engineering solutions to assist and maximise operational capacity
- Undertake fault-finding and problem solving work on a wide range of equipment including PLC and drive control to ensure minimum downtime implementing route cause analysis.
- Log breakdowns and issues accurately and effectively using software systems provided
- Work with the team to oversee the installation of new and existing plant
You will be qualified to at least HNC level with a completed recognised Apprenticeship, ideally with experience of working within an automotive manufacturing environment.
You will have an excellent understanding of electro-mechanical & pneumatic devices i.e. pump, valves, motors, cylinders, sensors, hydraulic systems etc. and have working experience with PLCs - preferably Siemens S5 and S7 - and drive controls along with an understanding of robotics.
You will be able to read and understand engineering drawings, have an understanding of sequence circuitry, have worked on 415v systems and be qualified to 17th Edition.
