Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer
£16.00-£17.00 per hour
40 hours Monday - Friday

The post holder will very much be involved with the maintenance and minor works service covering a
wide and varied range of mechanical equipment servicing large industrial units such as dual fired
boilers, heating and ventilation distribution equipment, refrigeration, chillers and air conditioning

All mechanical equipment throughout the site that comprises MTHW & LTHW heating equipment
(pumps, control valves, radiators) ventilation equipment (Air Handling Equipment, Filtration, Fans,
Heating/Cooling coils & Humidification) Domestic Hot Water equipment (calorifiers, safety devices)
compressors and manifolds for medical gases, Building Management System control equipment.
Work involves the use of analytical test devices, specialist tools, workshop fixed equipment, portable
electrical equipment, welding equipment, emergency generators, suction units, geared drives.

The candidate will be required to have had previous experience of building service systems,
technical services provision and general maintenance, site specific training will be provided

Required qualifications are an appropriately recognised Mechanical/Engineering apprenticeship
C&G, Scotvec (SVQ3), or equivalent
