Akton Resourcing Ltd are an established contract recruitment agency currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority.

The Council is focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for its communities. To do this the Council needs employees who thrive in an agile and networked organisation and who can support continuous improvement within a constructive organisational culture.

Key activities

Performance

  • Work with manager and colleagues to deliver on outcomes, achieve targets and monitor performance, within a culture of continual improvement
  • Supports operational plans to ensure that the resources within the teams are used to best effect and impact
  • To manage self-service ensuring 95% of library transactions go through self-service
  • In conjunction with the Delivery Manager develop branch plans to ensure corporate objectives are met, as outlined in the Corporate Plan
  • To be responsible for the performance of the branch using monthly statistical data to monitor achievements and putting measures in place to improve performance where needed
  • In conjunction with the Delivery Manager monitor the budget to ensure that income targets are achieved, and expenditure is within budget
