Lead Asset Surveyor - Nuclear

I am actively seeking Lead Asset Surveyors to work on nuclear sites for a world-leading global energy company. These positions are located across the United Kingdom. Prior experience working on a Nuclear site is essential. Please do not apply if you do not have current and valid Security Clearance.

Role Description:
  • Provide engineering and management support to package delivery teams;
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel and visitors;
  • Promote a positive, professional view of the company;
  • Adhere to the company's standard and expectations;
  • Communicate effectively with clients and all levels of personnel;
  • Liaise with project and client managers to ensure timely execution of work packages to agreed specification, quality and programme;
  • Responsible for the production of Task Risk Assessments and Method Statements and circulation to allocated team;
  • Apply engineering knowledge to deliver engineering-based projects to programme and cost;
  • Mentor the project team(s)
Qualifications:
  • BTEC Diploma, HNC qualification in relevant engineering discipline;
  • IOSH Managing Safely;
  • Relevant manufacturing/engineering vocational qualification or equivalence from significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering position.
Experience:
  • Nuclear engineering, operations or maintenance experience or experience gained in other highly regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, chemical, oil, gas, rail and aircraft;
  • IT skills - Microsoft Word as a minimum;
  • Demonstrable experience leading teams within a similar working environment.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience of working on a Nuclear Site;
  • A good understanding of legislation and standard relevant to a nuclear site;
  • Good communicator with the ability to lead discussions, facilitate and give presentations to delivery teams;
  • Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC) or Security Check (SC) level
