JOB TITLE: Client Finance Support Officer
Provide a Receivership and Appointeeship service for people assessed as not being capable of looking after their own financial affairs where there is no other person willing or able to provide the service. Develop, promote and implement the take up and use of direct payments and to support and enable people to use direct payments to organise and manage their own support packages.
- NVQ3 Qualification or equivalent qualification in a related field
- Able to use Microsoft Office products e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to staff, service users, carers and other stake holders in an effective and clear style.
- Knowledge of legal and benefit issues in respect of managing the financial affairs of others.
