Customer Service Officer

Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit an Adaptations Support Officer to join the Minor Adaptations Team.
We are a fast paced, dynamic team and the successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be driven to provide the best service possible!
We provide essential services to vulnerable adults and play a key role in the safe discharge of customers from hospital by issuing aids and adaptations to reduce risk within the home and prevent further hospital admissions.
Individuals should be able to deal with difficult situations in an encouraging and professional manner.
The candidate should have relevant experience of dealing with customers from a wide range of backgrounds.
Working as part of the wider Occupational Therapy Service this is an opportunity to work in a vibrant team with colleagues who are committed to facilitating positive change and make a difference to vulnerable adults and help improve their quality of life!
Our team is seeking individuals who:
* Have a good understanding of aids & adaptations
* Have excellent communication skills
* Have the ability to prioritize
* Can work as part a team but also autonomously
* Are efficient with good time management skills

The role will involve receiving incoming calls from customers, making outbound calls to partner agencies and booking appointments for front line workers.
