CIL Collection Officers
 
Akton Recruitment currently has an exciting opportunity for a CIL Collection Officers to join the team within a Local Authority in the London area.
 
Previous Experience working with Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) essential.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and hardworking individual to play a central role in implementing the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), working in the council's regeneration team.
You will be responsible for identifying, calculating and collecting Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) liabilities.  You will also be involved in the monitoring and administration of and compliance with S106 legal agreements and you may also support the process of allocating CIL and S106 funds. You will be working with (and where necessary/appropriate leading) your fellow CIL Collection Officers in their S106/CIL duties and reporting to the S106/External Funding lead officer.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in planning or local authority finance in a data/financial monitoring role preferably for a local authority as a CIL Collection Officer who will get great job satisfaction from forensic problem solving and has excellent attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment. With strong technical, numeracy and information management skills, together with a meticulous approach to your work, you will be able to work independently to meet challenging deadlines
