Business Service Administrator required for a fantastic contract based in Torness

The Role

  • Gather, analyse and present data from various sources for use in management information reports as requested
  • Support the continuous updating of station documentation, amendments and template transfers
  • Respond to routine requests for information - assemble relevant data and compile as necessary
  • Monitor and facilitate the Corrective Action Process
  • Support colleagues with day-to-day activities to ensure that deadlines and standards are met; and commitments are honoured
  • Carry out data input, cleansing and validation activities to ensure the accuracy of information, processes and systems
  • Prepare agendas for meetings, attend meetings, and produce formal minutes for distribution
  • Carry out stock taking activities and replenishment of business supplies
  • Prepare a variety of budgets and accounting reports
  • Verify, prepare and forward purchase orders/requisitions, verifying receipt of items and seeking authorisation for payment
  • Maintain effective diary management, including the coordination of meetings, appointments, travel and hospitality as necessary

The Requirements

  • GCSE or suitable qualification in English, Mathematics
  • ECDL / Word Processing qualification
  • Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Educated to Higher level or equivalent in
  • Administration or similar subject
  • Procurement experience
  • Experience taking minutes/actions in meetings

The Contract

  • Temp to Perm
  • 37 hours per week
  • Mon - Fri 08.30 - 16.30
  • £22,000 pa
  • £11.43 ph
