A Leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy that has several offices across the United Kingdom and overseas are seeking to employ an Associate Quantity Surveyor Working on a variety of some of London's most prestigious projects.
You will ideally be a MRICS Quantity Surveyor capable of offering a full service, both pre and post contract and be able to stand on your own two feet.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Associate Quantity Surveyor:
- Pre and Post contract services
- Attend site meetings
- Management responsibilities for Assistant Quantity Surveyors
- Produce documents to tender
- Contract Administration
- Cost plans
- Cost Management
REQUIREMENTS of the Associate Quantity Surveyor:
- Preferably MRICS
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Experience working in either a consultancy (ideally) or developer background
- Experience working within the hotels sector
- Experienced in both pre and post contract work
- Excellent client facing abilities
- Tenacious attitude, with a desire to succeed and progress in their career
You, as an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will be working in partnership with the Head of Cost Management, initially assisting in facilitating the current business load and pipeline while helping develop the service offering within London and the surrounds.
Working on mainly residential schemes, role will be hands on, day to day dealing with all aspects of a multiple unit residential scheme. Project currently in procurement stage but there are other projects to assist on in various stages as well including cost planning and post contract delivery, Must have experience in multiple unit residential schemes. Experience in dealing with a builder/developer preferred
You as the successful Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will be assisting in growing a Cost Management Business unit and thus; you should be a client facing and personable individual with line management experience and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will ideally be a MRICS Quantity Surveyor capable of offering a full service, both pre and post contract and be able to stand on your own two feet.
