Adoption & Commissioning Manager - Energy Industry (District Heating, CHP, Boilers etc)
3rd Party Asset review

Under the leadership of the Head of Asset Adoption & Improvement, the successful candidate will work within the Asset Adoption and Improvement team, liaising closely with other departments within the organisation, the candidate will be responsible for commissioning activities on new projects for large district energy schemes as well as witnessing and inspecting new assets being adopted into an operational environment to ensure they operate and comply with Engie standards and leasing with clients in managing the process.

Key Deliverables
* Ensure that new projects are commissioned correctly in accordance with company Standards.
* Assist with energy system performance investigations to identify improvements to optimize.
* Manage contract resources to assist in project commissioning.
* Assist the projects team in managing the commissioning process of complex systems in the
form of commissioning manager.
* To investigate and identify the root cause of plant performance degradation and
recommend/implement solutions.
* Review and witness soon to be adopted 3rd party installations against company performance standards and engage with Clients and Key stakeholders.
* Provide technical support to the project and operational teams.
* Drive and maintain a high standard in Health and Safety
* Planning and programming of works
* Ensuring the quality and processes used within company UE for commissioning and adoptions are complete
* Ensuring the quality management of the delivery of commissioning and adoptions are delivered

Qualifications or Required Experience:
* Motivated and professional engineer who wishes to commit to a role which will provide both opportunity and challenge
* Qualified to a minimum 2:1 degree level in Mechanical or equivalent Engineering Discipline or equivalent proven experience.
* Proven records in commissioning of large operational energy schemes.
* Technical experience of the design and operation of energy schemes/centres, heating and
cooling systems, CHPs, boilers, utilities, etc
* IOSH qualification
* Knowledge of Controls (BMS, Trend, SCADA), VSDs and Metering Systems
* Knowledge of energy software and some programming (e.g. Energy Pro, VBA, Python) would
be an advantage
* Knowledge of the CIBSE, Electrical and UK regulatory Standards
* Excellent communication both verbal and written
* Experience liaising with stakeholders and clients directly
* Must be both positive and proactive when approaching all tasks
* Demonstrable competence in the use of Microsoft Excel is essential
* Chartership status from a respective institute would be an advantage
